Story

Two figures watch from a distance. One seeing, with out sight.

Rethena: Didn't I tell you... she would come and stop their conflict, but you already knew this didn't you.

Ellethes: For us the present is nothing more than a figment in the endless stream which is life... Yet, it still pains me...

Rethena: Hm? What do you mean... as long as the two brothers are as one, then the destiny which we foresaw those many years ago will never come to pass.

Ellethes:.. Rethena... you still limit your sight to what you see as events. You must already see it in them...

Rethena:.. do not patronize me Ellethes, I see it... I ... I just wish it wasn't so. Why did they both have to awaken at the same time... If they only...

Ellethes: I know.... not even I can see it. Not even I can truly see which of them it is...

Rethena: what? Then how...

Ellethes: What you and I see are but possibilities. Each individual is able to rewrite their own destiny... You know what it means to be proven wrong... and how simple it is to do so

Rethena: ... thats why you stepped down to become a mother wasn't it? Because you didn't want your last premonition to come true.

Ellethes: ... when the bringer of death confronts the blessing of life a new power will be formed twisting the lines which divide all creation. For this power to be.... the shadow of life....

Rethena: must cease to exist.... the question now... is which of them is the true shadow...

These two are something else aren't they... Rethena and Ellethes I mean. The mothers of the destined children...

Well to give a bit of an insight into them. Ellethes was ones feared by many oracles because of her insanely powerful insight and for every single one of her predictions coming true with out fail. Many oracles spent their life and powers trying to simply find the origin and limits of her power and of her in general. All of them failed.

Rethana was the only one who could see the faint dimness of an end with in Ellethes. Since that day the two where known to be almost inseparable.. that is until they each married their respected lovers and in doing so began the down ward spiral that is the destiny of their own children.

The link they share something not even the other Oracles can understand. A link which can defy life, that can defy death... that can even defy time it self.
